Jordan’s Furniture, a leader in the furniture retail market is adding staff to our Customer Service department.  As we continue to grow, we pride ourselves on retaining the values our company is built on: attracting and retaining great employees is one of our top priorities.  Jordan’s Furniture is looking for a career-focused, teamplayer to work for our highly regarded Service department to handle delivery and service related inquiries and solve customer concerns.

    Responsibilities


    • Responds to customer service inquiries and/or problems with intent of providing customer satisfaction and retention

    • Investigates issues requiring further research and follows up with customers

    • Approves and processes special customer concessions including returns, credits, and adjustments

    • Makes system changes on delivery orders that are in the routing and/or truck-loading process

    • Provides customers with product and pricing information for repair services outside of warranty

    • Reviews and acts upon warranty claims; processes customer returns and exchanges

    • Troubleshoots inventory/sales orders to confirm order is complete.  

    • Handles calls from delivery drivers and service technicians.  Assesses and resolves customer situations to ensure customer satisfaction


    The starting pay for this position is $16.00 per hour.

    Qualifications


    • 3 to 5 years of related Customer Relations experience or equivalent education/experience

    • Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook and Internet

    • Typing skills of a minimum of 35 wpm

    • Excellent oral/written communication skills and ability to professionally interact with internal and external customers

    • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

    • Attention to detail

    • Ability to work in a team environment

    • Ability to handle difficult customers with ease

    • Strong organization/ time management skills
