    Creative Thinker?  Problem Solver?  Helpful?  Join our Customer Service Department.  Jordan’s Furniture, a leader in the furniture retail market is adding staff to our Customer Service call center.  We are a growing, stable company that is built on family values and attracting and retaining great employees is one of our top priorities.  Jordan’s Furniture is looking for a career-focused individual to work for our highly regarded Service department. 


    • Respond to customer service inquiries and/or problems with intent of providing customer satisfaction and retention
    • Investigate issues requiring further research and follows up with customers
    • Approve and process special customer concessions including returns, credits, and adjustments
    • Make system changes on delivery orders that are in the routing and/or truck-loading process; notify appropriate personnel
    • Provide customers with product and pricing information for repair services outside of warranty
    • Review and act upon warranty claims, process customer returns and exchanges
    • Troubleshoot inventory/sales orders to confirm order is complete.  May manipulate/transfer merchandise or release inventory to ensure all merchandise ordered is delivered
    • Handle calls from delivery drivers and service technicians.  Assess and resolve customer situations to ensure customer satisfaction

    The starting pay for this position is $16.00 per hour


    • 3 to 5 years of related Customer Relations experience or equivalent education/experience
    • Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook and Internet
    • Typing skills of a minimum of 35 wpm
    • Excellent oral/written communication skills and ability to professionally interact with internal and external customers
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Ability to handle difficult customers with ease
    • Strong organization/ time management skills
