Jordan’s Furniture is excited to announce that we will be opening a store location in South Portland, Maine in early Summer 2020!  Our South Portland Maine store will be the largest furniture store in Maine displaying furniture and mattresses, along with an extensive outlet center. The retail store, located in the Maine Mall (formerly Filene's and Bon-Ton's), will also include an entertainment attraction, like all of the other Jordan’s locations.

We are forecasting applicants for “future openings” at this time. Once we are able to recruit  after this crisis has subsided and/or businesses are back in session, we will be reviewing our staffing needs and start the screening process. Thank you for your patience.


Customer Support Representatives work with our customers in person and over the phone to assist with their purchase, resolve order issues, and other administrative duties.  There is so much variety in this position that no two days are the same!  Responsibilities include:

  • Interacting with customers in a courteous and professional manner, creating raving fans!
  • Assisting sales consultants with finalizing sales orders including payment transactions, delivery set up, etc.
  • Triaging incoming phone calls
  • Contacting customers to resolve delivery and service issues. Interacting with various departments to assist in resolving any issues
  • Reconciling cash drawer at the end of a shift

Start pay is $16.00

Full and Part Time positions available!


Requirements include:

  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new programs
  • Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Must be able to read and communicate effectively
  • 1-2 years of retail experience preferred but not required
  • Flexibility to work day, night and weekend shifts required.
