Jordan's Furniture is looking for a Returns Auditor to help inspect merchandise that is returned from customers as well as other Jordan’s locations; assist in determining the reason or origin of the return as well as the merchandise disposition; and assign all necessary codes to returned and non-delivered merchandise.

The hours of this position are Monday - Friday from 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. The position pays $18.00/ hour.

• Evaluates incoming, returned merchandise from both home delivery service and store shuttles and matches to return documents.
• Receives merchandise into the Warehouse Management System by using the RF scanner gun.
• Designates merchandise to appropriate location (Stock, Repair, RTV, Clearance, Junk, Charity, Litigation, view etc.)
• Loads and unloads IST merchandise on and off trailers as needed.
• Picks and prepares merchandise and parts as necessary. Repackages and relocates merchandise as needed.
• Receives and inspects returned merchandise for defects/damages. Assigns appropriate Cause Codes and determines disposition on no Homes, cancelled deliveries.
• Assist Sr. Auditor with the more complexed merchandise being returned on Credit Memos and Even Exchanges as needed.
• Utilizes the Red Prairie warehouse management system to perform assignments
• Processes and applies replacement labels to appropriate merchandise
• Labels cancelled, refused, and partial delivery merchandise for inventory tracking purposes
• Documents, relocates, and verifies inventoried merchandise.
• Provides Parts Video Line up feedback as necessary to maintain the accuracy of listed components
• Uses and maintains tools and equipment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards
• Assists all departments regarding merchandise and inventory related problems

• 0-6 months of related experience or equivalent education/ experience
• Must be certified through company Crown Lift Training Program to safely operate forklift and order picker equipment
• Must be able to solely and safely lift and move materials up to 110 lbs.
• Must be able to operate machinery up to heights of 35 to 50 feet
• Must have strong customer relations, communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency
