Overview

We saved you a seat! Jordan’s is searching for a talented and creative Leadership Development Manager. The Leadership Development Manager is responsible for the development, delivery, and measurement of our leadership development programs and initiatives. This role involves program design, management, and facilitation - as well as researching and implementing current trends related to leadership development.  This position is a hybrid position located in East Taunton, MA with occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

What we trust you to do: 

 

  • Deliver engaging and impactful leadership development workshops, seminars, and coaching sessions for leaders at all levels of the organization, both in-person and virtually.
  • Hires, trains, motivates, mentors, evaluates, coaches and supervises work of Instructional Designer.
  • Collaborate with key business leaders to ensure that training objectives are met through effective learning solutions including in-person and asynchronous modalities.
  • Measure program performance against goals and make iterations and improvements as needed.
  • Conduct assessments to identify high-potential employees and emerging leaders within the organization and create personalized development plans to support their growth and advancement.
  • Implement performance management processes and tools to track the progress and effectiveness of leadership development initiatives and provide feedback and support to participants.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors to support leadership development programs and track their effectiveness.
  • Research new trends and approaches in leadership development and instructional design.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates have: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, related field strongly preferred.
  • At least five years’ experience developing and presenting leadership curriculum.
  • At least 3 years of people leadership experience managing a group of learning professionals.
  • Experience in instructional design or instructional development.
  • Strong understanding of leadership principles, theories, and best practices, with the ability to apply them in a practical and results-oriented manner.
  • The ability to design learning solutions that are relevant and applicable, and apply adult learning methodologies to design virtual, on-demand, and in-person learning content.
  • An aptitude for making complex and technical information simple and easy to learn.
  • Strong influence, presentation, relationship management and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and program management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive them to successful completion.
  • A data-driven approach and understanding of relevant metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of leadership development solutions.
  • The ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
