In this hands-on role, you’ll support the Quality Control and Returns Department with tasks such as handling recyclable materials, trash disposal, and general warehouse maintenance and cleaning. It's the perfect role for someone who likes to stay busy and get things done!

Jordan's has budgeted the compensation for new hire employees in this position will range from $17.50 to $18.50 and offers promotion opportunities. This position will also receive a $2/hr shift differential. The schedule for this role is Tuesday - Saturday, 11:30 am - 8:00 pm. Overtime is needed on occasion.

 Some of your duties and responsibilities may include:

• Transfers trash and recyclable material to the compactor/baler area and maintains a clean work area.
• Separates recyclable material from trash.
• Operates all machinery used to handle trash or recycled material.
• Loads/unloads Junk bedding, Shuttle, Receiving and Recycling trailers.
• Handles, repackages, and moves returned merchandise
• Sorts, transports, processes recycling material and disposes all trash generated from the department’s daily operations

What you bring to the table:

• 0-6 months of related experience or equivalent education/experience
• Must be able to solely and safely lift and move materials up to 110 lbs.
• Must be certified through company Crown Lift Training Program to safely operate forklift and Pallet Jack equipment
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English
