Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our learning platforms, ensuring it meets the learning and development needs of our organization. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance user experience and support training initiatives. This is position can be based in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, or Connecticut and does need to come on-site as needed, approximately once per week

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of all L&D technologies, including managing user accounts, course content, and system updates. Ensure proper system configuration and functionality, including testing and troubleshooting issues.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues related to L&D technologies. Provide support and training to employees, managers, and learners on how to use L&D technologies.
  • Upload and manage all training materials, videos, documents, and assessments. Ensure content is organized logically, is easily accessible, and meets instructional design best practices. Develop and maintain training guides, FAQs, and other support documentation.
  • Track and report on learner progress, course completions, and other relevant data. Manage certifications and ensure that employees maintain required qualifications and training.
  • Analyze L&D technology data to assess effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on learning trends and performance metrics.
  • Research and recommend L&D technology enhancements or new technologies that could improve the learning experience.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to implement system upgrades, new features, or integrations with other HR and business systems. Work with external vendors or content providers to incorporate third-party learning resources into the HCM.
  • Ensure L&D technologies comply with company policies, data security regulations, and best practices. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to learning management and employee training.
  • Reviews, maintains, and edits training records and reports time and attendance for training attendees and submits to Payroll for processing.
  • Any other function or responsibility as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience managing an LMS or working in a related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, information technology, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of e-learning tools, content authoring software, and learning technologies.
  • Proficiency with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Cornerstone, Blackboard).
  • 3+ years of experience in HCM system administration (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
  • Proficiency in HCM systems and technology, including system configuration, maintenance, and reporting.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of learning management best practices, data security, and compliance requirements.
  • Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite
