The Senior Instructional Designer will develop effective learning objectives, record and edit video/audio, and create content for presentations across our business. This position works a hybrid schedule of 2 days in person at our East Taunton, MA Corporate Offices and 3 days from home.

Responsibilities

What we trust you to do: 

  • Conduct needs assessment with various stakeholders and teams to identify learning needs, determine evaluation methods and make learning recommendations.
  •  Leads the design, development and implementation of learning programs and curriculums in a variety of modalities (in-person, virtual, eLearning, blended)
  • Manage multiple projects (small/large scale), maintain project plans and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Leverage a variety of tools/technologies (Articulate Rise/Storyline, Camtasia, etc.) to create engaging and interactive learning
  • content.
  •  Stay up to date and leverage industry trends and best practices in instructional design.
  •  Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders across multiple functions and across all levels throughout design process.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

Who you are:

  •  Bachelor's degree or certification in Instructional Design, Education, or related field preferred.
  •  5+ years’ experience developing both in person and online content.
  •  Demonstrated ability to design and develop training materials (participant, leader, presentations, job aids, etc.)
  •  Knowledge of instructional design principles such as ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick Levels of Evaluation and Science of Adult Learning
  • Strong organizational, planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, and influencing skills.
  •  Proficiency with content creation tools such as Articulate Rise/Storyline, Camtasia, micro-learning tools, and Vyond.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
