Overview

Jordan’s Furniture is seeking an E-commerce Sales Specialist to work with our customers via our Chat software.  The E-commerce Sales Specialist will handle customer inquiries via Chat on Jordans.com.  They will also help answer questions related to a purchase or products on the sales floor and internet.

 

The E-commerce Sales Specialist position will be located at our Avon Store Training Center and may have potential for remote work for partial schedule after the training period. Schedule will be a rotating schedule including, days, nights and weekends to support the store business hours of operation.

 

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) hybrid position out of our Avon, MA store location.

Team members must be available to work either of the following shifts:

  • Morning Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Evening Shift: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday, with one weekend day required. Sunday shifts are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Evening shift availability flexibility is required. Final schedules will be determined in coordination with the manager upon hire.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

  • Assist online customers with the selection and purchase of merchandise while maintaining the best shopping experience for our customers. 
  • Assists and guides customers shopping and seeking information on Jordans.com using chat, video chat, email, and voice technologies ensuring an exceptional customer experience within the EXCEL principles
  • Triages customers that need assistance from our Call Center
  • Takes incoming calls from customers and works to troubleshoot and resolve low- and high-level issues
  • Processes sales orders in an accurate and timely manner; providing relevant info to customers: product care and expectations; warranty parameters, delivery services, etc.
  • Responds to customer inquiries submitted to the Jordan’s Furniture website and social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter)

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • 1-2 years prior sales experience or customer service experience
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
