Do you like staying busy all day and working independently? Jordan's Furniture seeks a team player to work in our busy QC and Returns departments. The hours of this position are: Tuesday - Saturday; 11:30 am - 8:00 pm.

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities we trust you to perform:

●      Transfers trash and recyclable material to the compactor/baler area and maintains a clean work area.

●      Separates recyclable material from trash.

●      Operates all machinery used to handle trash or recycled material.

●      Loads/unloads  Junk bedding, Shuttle, Receiving and Recycling trailers.

●      Handles, repackages and moves returned merchandise

●      Sorts, transports, processes recycling material and disposes all trash generated from the department’s daily operations

●      Assist with the overall cleanliness of the DC by ensuring floor is clear of recycling debris

●      Uses and maintains tools and equipment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards

What you bring to the table:

• 0-6 months of related experience or equivalent education/experience. 
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment where you are on your feet for 8 hours per day
• Reliability
• Safe work habits 
• Must be 18 years or age or older
• Must be able to solely and safely lift and move materials up to 110 lbs. 
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening. Don't worry, you can do it!
